Tulsa Trip Photos

Here are some photos of our trip to Tulsa last weekend to see my friend, Jackie and her four adorable children: Nathan, Moriah, Jonathan & Abigail. We had a blast! It was so great to see Jackie again and to see her kiddos. All our kids had a blast and got along so well! :)

Here's Jackie and I .... she's 11 months older than I! lol (This was a joke the entire time!lol) We've been friends for 18 years. We kept talking about how it's crazy that we met as teenagers in Venezuela and yet have maintained a friendship all these years. Only God could have joined our paths like He has! :)


Thankfully, they have a nice pool in their backyard. It was sooooooooo hot down there, so it was a welcome relief to have the pool. The kiddos pretty much lived in it! Brennan got pretty good at diving off the diving board, too. :)

Here's all of us just before we left to return to KC. The only 'bad' thing was not having our husbands there. Clint is still in Kazakhstan packing up their house and preparing for their move to Romania, and Steve was back here working in KC. So, next year we hope to have EVERYONE together!

On the way home, just East of Tulsa, we stopped at "The World's Largest McDonalds". It's made over and Interstate and is just kinda interesting to see! The boys thought it was the coolest thing ever! We went and toured it and got some ice cream! ;)

So, it was a great trip! I already miss Jackie! :( They're leaving in about a week to head off for their new life in Romania. Clint will be working for a new oil company and life will change for them all! We look forward to seeing them next summer when they're home for a couple months again! :)
