Wow....I guess this Kansas City move has been good for us in at least one way.......LOL........our taxes are officially done and will be in the mail tomorrow! And, it's only February 25th!!!
NEVER, EVER in our almost 14 years of filing our taxes as a married couple have we managed to have them done this early! NEVER! For so many years we knew were were going to have to pay every year, so we always put it off. Usually we're pushing April 15th, and a couple years we've had extensions! LOL So, this year is amazing for us! LOL
We met with our CPA last week when we were in Iowa and did all our paperwork with him, which was actually less complicated than we expected this year! :) Then, we received all our paperwork back from him this afternoon, got it all signed and it'll go in the mail tomorrow! Woooohooooo!
And, we even get a refund -- four infact: 1 from the US government, 1 from the Iowa state government, 1from the Missouri state government, and 1 from the Kansas State government! LOL It's not as large as it may sound, but it's kinda funny to get 4 different refunds. I guess that's what we get for living in 2 different states, working in another one, and living in the US! LOL
Oh well.......we're just high-fiving each other around here, thanking God for a refund, and patting ourselves on the back for finally being 'on the ball' after all these years! :)

We know the feeling of getting a
'refund' and what a thrill it gives
you. Also getting done early
and knowing if you have to pay or
if you can get refund. So that means if you move back to Iowa it
will help your taxes next year?????
