Science Experiment

We had a 'science experiment' today at our house -- well, not a planned one, but one nonetheless! LOL The boys don't have school today due to MLK day, so I told them they could each have one pop for lunch. But, Brennan didn't want it for lunch and wanted to save it for the afternoon. Fine. But, what he didn't tell me was that he'd decided to put a couple pops in the freezer to get them good and cold. LOL Know where this is going? Yep -- the top of one actually blew off. If you notice in the photo, the top is actually lying on the vegetables! Thankfully this is our freezer in the basement, so there's not a lot in there, but it's a mess! So, guess what my 'adventurous' son will be doing tonight -- cleaning the freezer! LOL He now understands that pop does NOT go in the freezer as it will expand and explode! ;)


(Although, both boys did think it was yummy to scoop the frozen pop out of the cans with spoons! LOL)
