Sad week for us....

This is the week we're having to say 'Good-Bye' to Mark and Megan and we're sad. :( This past weekend, we kept the kids overnight for one last 'slumber party'. We had fun hanging out with Madelynne, Marie, & Charlie. Tommie stayed with Mark & Meg, but the other three came over and hang out with us. :)

Tonight we are heading to a nearby restaurant, Cinzetti's. We're having supper with Mark & Meg and the kiddos and Megan's parents.

And, then on Friday, very early in the morning, they're heading out, bound for their new life in Kentucky....

It seems so wierd that they're moving away. They're whole married life they've lived in the KC area, and now when we move here, they move away (you can be sure we're giving them a hard time about that!). We've so loved getting to spend more time with them over the past 6 months. We feel like we just finally got to really know the kiddos. Being 4 hours away before, we'd get to spend time with them a couple times a year at family gatherings, but now we're only 2 miles away and that makes a huge difference. We've enjoyed getting to hang out with them and just 'do life' together. It's been so nice to have family close by especially with all the transition we've been in.

But, now they're moving away............and it'll be wierd to transition to life here without them. We will really miss them -- they're not only family, but they're friends, too.
