We have a few busy days here.......
Thursday night was so great...our friend from Iowa, Laura, happened to be in town to visit some family and called me later in the evening and we were able to hook up for a cup of coffee and some chit chat and lots of laughing! It was so wonderful to see her again and to just hang out with a friend and laugh a bit! :) I didn't get a picture last night, but here is a photo of us from the day we moved. And, this is about how we both looked last night with our coffee -- except we had sweatshirts on.......BRRRRR!

Thursday and Friday Nate is out of school due to parent/teacher conferences, so we've been hanging out together and doing some fun stuff just the two of us. Right now he's enjoying playing outside with his neighborhood buddies!
Tomorrow we have some friends coming in from Iowa. A friend from the gym, Brent, and his wife and kids are going to be in KC for the weekend, so they contacted us and we're having them over for supper Saturday night. I'm so excited to see someone else from the gym again! I miss all my gym buddies!
So, we have a busy few days here and then next week we get to head back to Iowa for a wedding and see bunches of people we know and love!!!! The countdown begins....
