Happy Birthday Steve! :)

Well, we pulled it off!!!!! :) Yay! Steve's 40th birthday surprise: His parents, Duane & Rebecca, totally surprised him and drove in all the way from St. Clair, MO (the St. Louis area)! It was a close one, they arrived about 3-5 minutes before he did! lol We had them pull their van into the driveway and closed the door and then they ran inside and sat on the couch, awaiting his impending arrival! lol

HE WAS SHOCKED!!!!!!!!!! lol

His Mom had called today and just acted like 'no big deal', didn't even tell him Happy Birthday! lol So, surprisingly he thought they had just completely forgot, and instead they were driving the 7 hours to our house!!! :) We've been planning this since Thanksgiving and we pulled it off!!! It was so fun to see him excited and surprised! He had NO idea! I am pretty proud of myself for keeping a secret from my best friend! :)

Tonight we went to a nearby Mexican Restaurant and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, just being together and watching him be celebrated!

Thanks to all who sent cards and loved on him so well! He was again surprised and truly felt loved!

He is truly a wonderful husband, great father, and I love to see him celebrated so much! He totally deserves it!
