The flurry of activity has ceased...

Life has been so crazy the last several weeks since we moved, but especially the past week with the roofing project, my friend Mary coming into town, and with my family here this past weekend. It has been a whirlwind of activity at our house!!! BUT........we've loved every minute of it -- ok, well maybe not the roofing part, but we have loved having company!!!!

It was so great to see Mary again -- I so miss all my gym friends! So, it was great to have her here and to get to hang out together and do some tough workouts again!

Then, my parents and grandma -- so great to see them again! We talked and laughed a lot this weekend and just enjoyed spending time together. They were such a HUGE help to us! My Dad is so great at 'fixing' things and made things that would have been complicated for Steve or I -- he made them seem too 'easy'! And, my Mom did an awesome job of helping to organize my kitchen into a more 'workable' area. When we moved, I had pretty much just 'thrown' things into the cupboards, so she helped me reorganize them and get it more functional. It was so helpful -- although, we're still trying to remember the new places we put everything! LOL Thanks again, Mom and Dad, for all your help!!!! :)

And, now they are gone, and I've dried my tears, and it's so weird to have just the four of us here again. We've just finished taking some naps and resting and now our house seems so 'quiet' after all the 'busyness' the past week!!!! It'll be interesting to settle back into whatever our 'normal' routine will be now. It is sad to have everyone gone now...........it still feels as if we've been 'left behind' and are truly 'all alone' here. :( So...........come one, come all -- WE LOVE VISITORS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
