We are officially in our own home now! YIPEEEEEEE!!!!! :-) I cannot even begin to tell you how good that feels. It's still looks like a disaster zone in here, but at least we're in and sleeping here tonight! :-) Mark and Megan have been wonderful host/hostess and we are so very thankful for them allowing us to stay there, and have made delicious meals, etc. However, after traveling and moving, it's nice to finally begin to settle into our own home!
We finally decided on a refrigerator yesterday -- I was so thankful Steve had another day off! The whole refrigerator-buying process has been crazy! We were all ready to buy one yesterday -- AGAIN -- and wouldn't you know, they were out of stock of the one we wanted! Ugh! But, the salesman was great and talked to his boss and we ended up buying the floor model and got it at a reduced price because of that, and they threw in a free ice maker, too! So, it ended well, I guess. We got a refrigerator with a freezer on the bottom! :-) They're supposed to be delivering it around the noon hour today. Then we need to get some groceries and it'll seem even more like 'home' in here!
Yesterday we ran around a lot more -- returning the Penske truck, figuring out the fridge, etc. etc. And, Steve pruned a ton of the trees, as they needed it badly! So, now with tree limbs all over our back yard, not only the inside of our house, but the outside, too, looks like a war zone! LOL
We also had some difficulty with our garage last night. It seems that Steve's new company truck just might not fit in there! Or, at least it won't fit with all the stuff in there now! We're thinking we'll need to build a shed in the back yard for our lawn mower and Steve's tools and such. Oh well ... another project for us to do one of these days.
:-)
