Leaving KC for the day

For the first time since we moved, we're leaving KC for the day! Our 'big adventure' will take us up North to Omaha. Some friends of ours', the author of Christ-Life, is getting married! :-) Well, actually, it's their 40th Anniversary; however, they never had a 'real' wedding ceremony, just a justice of the peace, or something like that, so they decided to do this in honor of their anniversary! It'll be pretty cute to see them go through this! They're a neat couple! :-) So, we're leaving here soon to head to Omaha. It'll be the first time we've ever taken I-29, out of the city, so pray we make it there without getting too lost! lol But, we're looking forward to seeing some of our friends from Des Moines who are coming, too. Should be nice 'reunion' with everyone! :)
