For years we've heard of God healing people overseas: blind eyes opening, limbs growing, etc. We've rejoiced, but hungered to see it in our own church in the United States! We have seen God heal deaf ears and such, but longed for even more manifestation of His glory. Well, this weekend, God answered our prayers!
A gal from our church, Renae, was in a terrible car accident 5 years ago. Since that time, she's steadily gotten worse with horrible chronic pain, nerve issues, etc. To the point that in the past year, she's become confined to a wheel chair, could never stand more than 10 seconds, and her hands were all 'gnarled' up and her feet had begun to turn in, etc. It was so sad and she was in so much pain and the doctors couldn't do anything to help her. They tried in January and her body reacted and she almost died.
WELL....this weekend, we had a guest speaker all weekend, Leif Hetland, and Renae told her Mom she wanted to come, so they wheeled her into the service on Saturday night Leif was speaking about having an 'orphan spirit' and how so many in the church have this and at the end of the service, Renae asked him to pray for her because she realized that she had an 'orphan spirit' and had become offended with God for not healing her. After praying for her about that, he said, "Well, now let's pray for you to be healed and get up out of this wheel chair!', so he did.
Little by little, she began to move more and more and after about an hour, she was RUNNING UP AND DOWN THE CHURCH AISLES AND THE STAIRS with NO PAIN!!!!!!!!!!!
This morning she was testifying to what God's done and it's just amazing! I mean, to hear about God healing someone is one thing, but to actually SEE it and to know this person and to know it's FOR REAL is just amazing!!!!!!!!!! What an outpouring of God's love!!!!!!!
