It was an interesting night tonight....Nate had a music concert at school tonight....he was Davey Crockett for a small portion of it and was so cute as he 'chased' a bear in his coon hat! lol BUT.........
About 1/2 way through the concert, the principal comes in and says we're under a tornado warning and everyone has to go to the basement of the school. Well, Mr. Banderman decided that was 'ridiculous' and he wasn't about to get crowded into the area with a bunch of people when he was "sure" it was all ok. So, what does he do? He and Brennan head out front and decide they're going to look out the front windows! lol
After a few more updates and finding out one cell went around us and then they spotted another one about 20 minutes away, so we decided to 'make a run for it' and go home, since we're less than a 1/2 mile from the school! :)
We walk out of the school to a light rain shower and sunshine! lol Got home and it's simply been a stormy night -- rain and some wind, light hail -- but nothing too major. I think it went around us and more is north. :)
I'm glad Nate got a chance to do his part and he did great -- and I'm glad to be home and safe! :)
