The doctor says my Grandma has congestive heart failure and 'the end' is near. They're trying to keep the fluid out of her lungs and they're now giving her morphine, every hour, to keep her comfortable.
Steve and I have decided that I will drive back to Iowa tonight to be with my family. My heart aches to be there alreay. We don't know how much longer we'll have with her, but I at least want one more opportunity to be with her and say good-bye. I'll return tomorrow to KC and then we'll wait....
Please pray for our family as we walk this out with our Beloved Grandma/Great Grandma/ & Mom.
