BUMMER!

We are so disappointed ... some friends' of ours' from Iowa were to be coming in this weekend and staying with us Friday - Sunday. However, for various reasons they're unable to come in now, plus the weather didn't help, even though we didn't get THAT much snow! These are dear friends of ours' whom we have only seen one time since we left Iowa and that was at their wedding in November. We hadn't seen, or really talked to them since their wedding because they'd been gone a lot. So, we were so excited about them coming into town this weekend! We even re-did our guest room -- actually we DID our guest room for the first time -- it was pretty bad. Needed paint and them we decorated it. We had photos of their wedding printed out and put into frames on the headboard and candles and chocolate. We wanted to surprise them and just create a sweet, romantic, little haven in that room. BUT........now, they're not coming and I'm sending the photos in the mail to them instead. We're so bummed. We TOTALLY understand and don't fault them at all and would have done the same thing, but we were really looking forward to a visit from 'home' and getting to hang out with our friends. Sigh.......
