We decided to try to tackle our family room this weekend, but things didn't quite go as planned. :) We have a ton of wallpaper in this house and we're wanting to get rid of it! :) So, we started in steaming the family room, then mudding, and sanding and preparing it for paint....
Steve and I were getting a little 'wierd' in this photo, because things weren't quite going as planned.......the paint wasn't quite sticking well, or covering up the imperfections! :( We didn't know what to do, so we stopped at one wall and are going to get some more 'professional help! :) Although, when you look at it in 'regular light' it turned out really well! The color is burgundy/wine and we love it -- now we just need to figure out how to get a smooth finish so we can do some other walls -- later! :)
Oh well....good enough for now. :) I'm glad to not have wallpaper on at least ONE wall! :)
